Areas of Use:
As building reinforcement of carbon fiber against earthquake, in the repair of columns and beams of medium-lightly damaged structures, in the repair of corroded damaged bridges, viaducts, columns and beams. It is used in the repair of historical monuments.
Advantages:
The corrosion resistance of the material extends the life of the building up to 1000 years. When wrapped around the stirrup tightening areas of the column, it acts as an additional stirrup and increases the shear capacity of the column. Increases the vertical bearing capacity when wrapped around the columns. Prevents the walls from disintegrating. It increases the flexing capacity of the columns wrapped completely to a great extent. Thus, there is no breakage in the columns.
Features:
It is a stronger but much lighter reinforcement system than steel that does not add extra weight to the structures and does not lose space due to its very thinness. It has no corrosion and rusting problems compared to steel. Easy to shape.

Surface Preparation
The surface of the building element to be applied should be cleaned from residues such as plaster, paint, oil, rust and weak cement grout, weak particles and necessary repairs should be made to obtain a smooth surface. If there is significant corrosion on the columns, the iron reinforcement should be broken and the iron reinforcement should be cleaned of rust, primed with anti-corrosion primer material and repaired with Polymex-epoxy repair mortar to obtain a smooth surface.
Primer
Before application, the surface is primed with Polymex-999- primer with a consumption of 300-400 g/m2 to make it suitable for adhesion. It is necessary to wait for the primer to dry for bonding.
Gluing Method
KARBO F is cut according to the need and made ready. Apply Polymex-1035 epoxy resin to the concrete surface with a spatula or roller. Carbon fiber KARBO F is glued to the applied Polymex-1035 by hand so that there is no air gap. While doing this, the epoxy resin underneath is allowed to come out of the carbon fiber with a serrated roller. The same process is done homogeneously on the entire surface so that the epoxy resin is on the top surface. If the epoxy resin is insufficient, Polymex-1035 epoxy resin is pulled to the top surface again and the carbon fiber fabric is saturated with the resin.
Wet Application Method
