Implementation: Surface Preparation: The surface must be dry and clean. The surface must be free of oil, wax, grease, water repellents, dust and unattached free parts. The moisture content of the materials to be bonded must be maximum %8. Components A and B of Polymex-3005 must not come into contact with air in any way, Mixing: Since there is a perfect harmony between the A and B components of the adhesive, the mixture is applied manually or with low pressure PU (polyurethane) machines. Since the usage time of the mixture is short in manual applications, mixtures should be prepared as needed. The best results are obtained with low pressure PU machines at the mixture ratios we recommend. Since Component A may collapse if it sits for a long time, the tank mixer must be in operation in applications with PU machines. Please contact our technical service for extending or shortening the mixing time. Necessary modifications can be made for Polymex-3005 according to the production speed, especially in bonding applications in the filter industry using low pressure PU machines. Implementation Tools: Polymex-3005 is recommended to be applied with low pressure PU machines due to its very short pan life (mixture usage time) and curing time (note that the application time can be extended or shortened according to the request) Cleaning Supplies Excess adhesive and tool cleaning can be done with a suitable solvent (methylene) while the adhesive is still wet. Hardened adhesive can only be removed mechanically.
